Description

The Digital Platform Product Owner owns the vision, roadmap, and prioritization for Leidos' digital platform ecosystem, including Leidos.com, related digital properties, and the enterprise Digital Asset Management platform. This role ensures platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned to enterprise brand and marketing objectives.

In this role, the Digital Platform Product Owner is accountable for translating business needs into a prioritized roadmap and actionable backlog, guiding delivery from concept through launch and continuous improvement. This role balances strategic ownership with hands-on product management, ensuring platform investments drive measurable value.

This role partners closely with the Interactive Design Lead and Senior Digital & UX Strategist to ensure platform decisions are informed by experience requirements, usability standards, and long-term scalability needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Leidos.com, related digital properties, and the enterprise DAM platform.
  • Serve as the day-to-day lead for platform priorities, trade-offs, and feature sequencing based on business goals, user needs, and technical considerations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure digital experiences are intuitive, accessible, and aligned to brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the SEO & Digital Optimization Lead to ensure platform architecture, templates, and features support discoverability, performance, accessibility, and AI-powered search experiences.
  • Work with engineering and IT partners to plan and deliver platform enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and technical improvements.
  • Establish and maintain platform governance standards, including content models, templates, workflows, and DAM usage.
  • Prioritize and manage backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
  • Monitor platform performance, reliability, and usage, translating insights into continuous optimization initiatives.
  • Act as the platform subject matter expert, providing guidance, documentation, and support to internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role leading and operating enterprise websites and related digital properties; experience with DAM platforms preferred. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
  • Strong experience translating business requirements into product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies, CMS platforms, and platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), performance optimization, and modern digital experience best practices.
  • Support compliance with applicable privacy, data, and technology-related regulations and standards, including GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, NIST, and CMMC.
  • Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
