The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Development Lead to work in our Baltimore, Maryland office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) program operate, maintain, modernize and transform its legacy system.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Development Lead is responsible for the development and deployment of system functionality.The Development Lead's responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and managing application development activities for all legacy and modernized systems.
- Leading the development team through the agile phases.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to project resources.
- Offering technical oversight to ensure software quality standards are met.
- Monitoring system development and deployment progress.
- Addressing system issues/defects, including desktop application, integration application, and all supporting tools.
- Employing practices to improve collaboration between development and operations teams; this includes continuous integration and delivery, automation, infrastructure as code, and monitoring.
- Leveraging advanced methodologies to develop intelligent solutions that analyze data, learn from patterns, predict outcomes, and make informed decisions autonomously.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to iteratively deliver high-quality solutions; this includes knowledge of Scrum roles, time-boxes, ceremonies, and artifacts.
- Designing software solutions to meet technical and business needs by leveraging knowledge of programming languages, architecture, and technology.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of relevant prior experience
- 3-5 years experience with Siebel and/or Pega CRMs
- Ability to obtain Public Trust
- Dashboard Integration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CMS platforms
- CRM system integration experience
- Experience with SAFe
- Data design, management, integration and migration experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
