The Asset Management-_Lead provides lead-level oversight of IT asset lifecycle services supporting the SEC ISS contract. This role manages the team responsible for delivery, staging, tracking, deployment, license management, and disposal of end-user and infrastructure hardware/software assets. The position ensures accurate asset accountability across SEC systems, alignment with service delivery expectations, and readiness for audit and compliance reviews. The role also drives SLA metrics reporting and process improvements in coordination with customer service delivery, endpoint, and program leadership teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Asset Lifecycle Operations Leadership

- Lead daily operations for end-to-end lifecycle management of IT assets, including receiving, staging, deployment, relocation, recovery, and disposal.

- Direct team activities to maintain full accountability for hardware, software, mobile devices, and related infrastructure assets.

- Establish and enforce lifecycle controls for asset handoff, custody changes, and disposition actions.

- Ensure asset operations support onboarding, relocation, and offboarding requirements across supported user populations.

Asset Tracking, Inventory, and Data Integrity

- Manage asset tracking systems and inventory repositories to maintain accurate, current, and auditable records.

- Oversee recurring reconciliation and validation activities to identify discrepancies and drive corrective actions.

- Implement quality checks for inventory accuracy, data completeness, and lifecycle status updates.

- Coordinate with service desk and technical teams to ensure ticket-driven asset updates are recorded consistently.

Software License and Compliance Management

- Oversee license inventory management, reconciliation of deployed software against owned entitlements, and usage tracking.

- Direct activities to identify unused licenses, support reclamation, and optimize license utilization.

- Support software catalog governance and alignment with approved tools, standards, and approval workflows.

- Ensure license and asset records are prepared to support internal/external audits and compliance inquiries.

SLA Performance, Reporting, and Team Management

- Manage staff performance, workload distribution, and operational priorities to meet contract service expectations.

- Track and report asset management SLA metrics through dashboards and recurring operational deliverables.

- Partner with program, security, and audit stakeholders to resolve findings and strengthen control processes.

- Recommend and implement process improvements that increase service quality, timeliness, and operational transparency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

-This position is restricted to U.S. citizens only. Applicants must not hold dual citizenship with any other country to be eligible for work under this contract.

-BA degree and 4 years experience. In lieu of degree, additional experience may be required.

-Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust.

-At least 4 years of related experience managing IT assets to include delivery and staging, asset tracking, asset deployment, license management, and asset disposal.

- Experience managing teams to ensure accurate tracking, inventory, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.

- Experience managing asset tracking systems, auditing processes, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

- IT asset tracking systems and inventory management practices.

- Hardware and software asset lifecycle operations, including delivery, staging, deployment, license management, and disposal.

- Asset auditing processes and compliance documentation support.

- SLA monitoring and operational performance reporting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience supporting SEC or other federal civilian IT service environments.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and enterprise ITAM/SAM platforms.

- Familiarity with FISMA-aligned audit readiness and remediation support.

- Experience building automated lifecycle and compliance reporting for leadership review.

- Proven success leading cross-functional operational improvements in large-scale IT support organizations.

- ITIL 4 Foundation

- IAITAM Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)

- IAITAM Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00
