Overview
LegalZoom is seeking a Business Finance Senior Manager to join our Finance team (Business Finance / FP&A), with a primary focus on Sales and Service Delivery. This is a highly visible role responsible for driving financial strategy, performance management, and decision support across revenue-generating and service-oriented functions.

The Senior Manager will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, lead complex strategic initiatives, develop scalable financial frameworks, and guide the growth and development of other members of the Business Finance team. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, executive presence, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment while shaping outcomes through data-driven insights.
You Will
- Own and oversee the financial performance of Sales and Service Delivery organizations, including revenue, cost-to-serve, productivity, and margin analysis
- Serve as the primary finance partner to Sales and Service Delivery leadership, providing strategic guidance, scenario analysis, and recommendations that influence key business decisions
- Lead the development of advanced financial models to support headcount planning, investment prioritization, and long-range planning
- Deliver clear, compelling executive-level presentations that translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior management
- Provide thought leadership on how to scale and optimize Sales and Service Delivery operations, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer outcomes
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and metrics across supported functions
- Partner closely with Corporate Finance to support planning, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions
- Play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment between operational plans and financial targets
- Lead and mentor other members of the Business Finance team, fostering strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and professional development
- Act as a finance subject matter expert on cross-functional initiatives related to growth, operational excellence, system implementations, and new business models
You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Consulting, Investment Banking, or a related field, with demonstrated experience supporting Sales, Services, or revenue-driving organizations
- Proven ability to operate autonomously, manage ambiguity, and lead complex projects from concept through execution
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; experience with financial systems, planning tools, or data visualization platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence senior leaders and lead cross-functional discussions
- Demonstrated experience guiding and developing other team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team environment
- Solid understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business models and related key performance indicators is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational demands in a fast-paced, evolving environment

LegalZoom is a remote-friendly company and the national range for this role is $131,600 - $210,600. Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
