UI Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and domain experts to deliver seamless, user-centered experiences.
• Build reusable, modular, and scalable components while ensuring application performance and accessibility standards.
• Contribute to the design and development of healthcare solutions, including LIMS systems.
• Integrate healthcare standards like FHIR or open EHR into front-end applications where applicable.
• Ensure consistent application of best practices in front-end development, including performance optimization and secure coding.
• Collaborate with peer engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Develop and maintain a robust suite of unit and integration tests, leveraging TDD.

Qualifications:

• Professional Experience: 4+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years specializing in Angular.
• Healthcare IT: Experience with healthcare-related applications or systems is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:

• Deep expertise in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, RxJS, and state management tools.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs and working with backend teams to define data models.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing (Protractor, Cypress).

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• A passion for understanding the domain to deliver meaningful and impactful solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
