Software Quality Lead - Salesforce and Related Systems
Labcorp Diagnostics is searching for a Salesforce QA Leader to play a critical role in supporting ongoing implementations and enhancements to the Salesforce.com and related commercial technology platforms. The person filling this role will be responsible for establishing a robust QA and testing program that works within the existing modified agile structure and development methodologies. The person filling this role will be a member of the Labcorp Diagnostics National Sales Administration team.
The Salesforce QA Lead will lead a team of offshore India-based QA engineers in creating, formalizing and performing QA processes, documentation and testing activities. The QA Lead will be responsible for leading a team of QA Engineers and ensure maintenance of the automated regression suite. The QA Lead is an instrumental member of the project team, helping to ensure that a solution is fit for end user's needs. The QA Lead will work closely with the entire project team to review the overall functional and non-functional requirements, while keeping a user's perspective in mind. Activities in this role will include analyzing non-functional requirements and technical designs, translating functional requirements into test cases, and identifying defects and driving them to resolution. The ideal candidate is an experienced software QA leader with proven ability to grasp tough issues, solve problems quickly and deliver creative, well-engineered, high-quality solutions. The role requires a demonstrated ability to develop and communicate meaningful, clear metrics that drive the teams to continuous improvement.

Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in-office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruiting, hiring and managing full-time employees and contract-based QA engineers as demand requires.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, including QA Analysts and/or QA Engineers, to effectively execute QA strategy and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. Drive the execution of the QA strategy, aligning team members on progress, risks, and status.
- You will be partnering with the product owner, product analysts and the Salesforce engineering team to identify the appropriate functional and regression test cases for the user stories in the Salesforce platform backlog
- You will be responsible in creating the test data for developer/analyst used in testing. Develop automation scripts and assist Developer/Analyst and product owners in test execution activities.
- Own Functional, Technical, Integration, and Data validation and testing
- You will be responsible for writing test cases, test scripts, test plan, end to end test scenarios and assist in defining the acceptance criteria for the requirements
- Participate in the product planning and document test plan and test scenarios in collaboration with the product owner, product analysts and engineers
- Break down the complexity of the test scenarios into unit, system, and user acceptance categories
- Clearly document the test scenarios for all user stories in the product backlog
- Perform testing and validation of Platform customization through the sprints - Integration and User environment
- Ensure business stakeholders are completing the user acceptance testing and obtain approval to release to production
- Coordinate and Assist UAT teams in validating the product enhancement meets the intended requirements
- Assist in coordinating the go-live Quality Assurance activities including the test execution of the test plans and checklists
- Own any production defects validation, test and funnel them through sprints towards fixes as applicable
- Maintain and communicate testing metrics to track trends and drive process improvements: ensure traceability (RTM- Requirement Traceability Matrix), and drives continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years software QA testing on the Salesforce platform with significant project experience in Salesforce Sales and Service cloud applications
- Experience leading teams, managing people
- Prior experience with Copado CICD, Bitbucket
- Prior experience with test case, script writing and documentation
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence and other collaboration, documentation and project management tools
- Prior experience working in a modified Agile or Scrum methodology
- Prior experience working with third parties, consultants, contractors and SOW based work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in test planning, test case design, test automation, (Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium), API (REST/SOAP) testing and data migration testing
- Active Salesforce certification(s), Sales Cloud experience, Strong preference given to individuals with multiple certifications
- Copado robotic testing certifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
