Labcorp is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our team at Yeshwanthpur office.
Work Schedule
Remote based - 2nd shift (2PM - 11PM IST)
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose
- Lead end-to-end mobile application development including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
- Ensure adherence to mobile security standards and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and optimize applications for scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
- Implement secure authentication and encryption mechanisms for sensitive data handling
- Maintain technical and compliance-related documentation
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of Android application development experience
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
- Experience with Android Architecture Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API integrations
- Knowledge of mobile application security principles and secure coding practices
- Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, biometrics, or similar authentication protocols
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
