Project Specialist - Center of Esoteric Testing

LabCorp is currently seeking a Project Specialist to join the Center of Esoteric Testing team located in Burlington, NC! The ideal candidate will be one who can take initiative, have strong communication and computer skills, and experience within a clinical laboratory setting.

This position will support CET (Center of Esoteric Testing Burlington) and CET West (Center of Esoteric Testing Phoenix),focusing on client concerns, proactive communication, overdue analysis, and serve as a central point of contact for internal and external communications.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 8:00am-5:00pm

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.   • Communicate with clients, sales teams, physicians, pathologists, Medical Directors, and laboratory staff.
  • Partner with sales leaders and representatives to collaborate on innovative solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and disseminate emergency notifications regarding test and sample level concerns.
  • Prepare slide deck presentation information for customer and staff reviews.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot client problem reports to help identify trends.
  • Provide exceptional support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence for operational and quality performance.
  • Review and resolve various laboratory audit reports.
  • Assist departments with training staff on LabCorp information systems and processes if needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher is preferred. Life Science degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Preferably in a clinical diagnostic setting.
  • Previous experience with laboratory leadership preferred
  • Experience with laboratory information systems and laboratory processes highly desired.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.
