Operations Scientist - I
Work Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift)
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations
- Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
- Communicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly
- Order consumables for projects as needed
- Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.
- Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines
- Set up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment
- Attend and participate in project meetings
- Support process improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment
- Participate in client visits as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma with 2 years or more of relevant laboratory experience
- Experience using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges)
- Experience with analytical instrumentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology or related scientific field.
- 2 years or more laboratory experience
- Experience working multiple projects in various stages at the same time
- GLP Documentation experience
- Experience with basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Experience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects

- Ability to handle a fast paced environment
- Organized and detailed communication
- Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing

Pay Range:
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
