Animal Operations Supervisor I - 2nd Shift

Are you ready to make a difference? LabCorp, a global life sciences leader, is seeking a Supervisor-I 2nd Shift, to join our team in Madison, WI. As part of our dynamic group, you'll play a crucial role in advancing healthcare and scientific innovation.
Job Duties:
- Evaluate staff performance and address management issues.
- Set employee objectives aligned with strategic goals.
- Foster career development and skills building for direct reports.
- Monitor staffing levels and retention.
- Interview candidates and provide valuable feedback.
- Efficiently allocate workload and understand cost metrics.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (GXP).
- Plan and organize resources for study assignments.
- Contribute to process improvement within Animal House Operations.
- Train staff in laboratory operations.
- Maintain safety standards and enforce EHS policies.
How you will be rewarded:
- Work hours: 11:00 AM -7:45 PM
- Additional Requirements: Work schedule may include occasional weekends and holidays.

Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree. BSc or equivalent or MSc required.
- Leadership experience or 3 years in a technician role.
- Previous leadership experience may substitute for time in role.
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education.
