The Role

Are you ready to take a leading role in shaping the future of Kyndryl's global HR technology landscape? We are seeking a Workday Solution Architect to join our CIO EA Human Capital Management team.

As a Workday Solution Architect, you will provide expertise in design and planning across the Workday platform, covering modules such as Core HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Projects, Time Tracking, Prism, and integrations with external payroll systems. You will be a trusted advisor, ensuring that end-to-end solutions are well-architected, scalable, and aligned with Kyndryl's governance processes.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll partner closely with HR Tech, HR COEs, the CIO H2R team, and enterprise architects to deliver solutions that connect the dots across multiple HR domains.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and align priorities.
  • Architect comprehensive Workday solutions across multiple modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll, etc.), balancing immediate needs with long-term scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership for Workday configurations, integrations, and optimization.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with CIO governance processes.
  • Champion organizational change by designing and implementing new Workday processes, including training and onboarding users.
  • Continuously explore emerging Workday features to drive innovation and improve the employee experience.
  • Advise senior leadership on Workday strategy, bridging technical and business perspectives.

Who You Are

Skills & Expertise

  • Extensive experience with Workday HCM implementations, including solution design, module configuration, and system integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday architecture, business processes, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to design integrations with enterprise platforms (APIs, middleware, data migration tools).
  • Experience with large-scale HR and Payroll system deployments (50+ countries).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, build consensus, and influence decisions across global teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in technology consulting or enterprise software, including at least 5 years specializing in Workday architecture and implementation.
  • Skilled in at least one of the following areas: Application Development, Security, Application Integration, Data Engineering, Server Systems, Packaged Application Implementation, Business Analysis, Network Systems, or Storage Systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and experience working in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Must hold full, unrestricted right to work in Ireland (no visa sponsorship available).

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree an advantage).
  • Workday certifications.
  • PMP/PRINCE2/PgMP or equivalent program management certification.
