The Role
Position Summary
We are seeking a senior Business Consulting Account Executive to lead the growth and delivery of consulting services within one of our most strategic global accounts. This role combines responsibility for business development, client relationship management, and oversight of project delivery. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for the client, orchestrating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that our services consistently meet quality, financial, and operational expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Account Growth & Business Development
- Develop and execute the account business plan aligned with global strategy.
- Identify new consulting opportunities and lead end-to-end sales cycles.
- Manage pipeline, proposals, contracting, and pricing activities.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships
- Drive profitable growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
Client Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as trusted advisor for senior client stakeholders
- Understand client priorities, strategic needs, and decision criteria.
- Represent the firm in executive governance forums
- Ensure client satisfaction, issue resolution, and long-term retention.
Project Delivery Oversight
- Oversee execution of all consulting engagements within the account.
- Ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance across projects.
- Lead delivery governance structures and operational reporting.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, and contractual obligations
- Support project leads on scope definition and resource planning.
Leadership & People Management
- Coordinate global and cross-functional teams
- Mentor and support consulting managers and project leaders.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across practices.
- Champion culture, performance, and continuous improvement.
Who You Are
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, account management or business development.
- Proven track record building and growing strategic accounts.
- Demonstrated ability leading large, complex engagements.
- Strong financial, commercial, and contractual acumen.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-presence skills.
- English.
