The Role

Overall 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with focus on application development, support and integrating solutions across systems. Out of that, 5+ years deep expertise in a development domain with 3 or more projects in an agile method driven environment as a full stack developer .

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Handles application support, maintenance, development and modernization activities in projects as a Java Full Stack technical champion
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to design applications based on business requirements covering Applications, Data, Cloud Technology & Application Authentication & Authorization.
• Performing code review of project deliverables. Lead work sessions and client discussion with application development/support teams
• Perform application code changes based on the defined application modernization strategy and architecture.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost-effective application designs by using microservices patterns and best practices
• Develop and modernize applications based on cloud native architecture that includes APIs, microservices and containers.
• Lead project delivery by coaching and mentoring the developers in activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Strong Experience in Java Micro-services & Spring Boot, Angular/React, Type Script, Java Script, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, DevOps , GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Solution Architecture.
• Experience in Eclipse RCP (Rich Client Platform) development is an added advantage.
• Microservices development and local deployments and Software development processes.
• Strong knowledge of OOP concepts and micro-services architecture.
• Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns and approaches.
• Proficient in GitHub, Jenkins, and Confluence.
• Expertise in relational databases (query writing) and messaging queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka). Ability to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications locally and on Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for code, deployments, and local setups.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts effectively.

Certification (added advantage)

• Professional Enterprise Architecture Certifications in any - TOGAF, Zachman.
• Professional Architect Certification in any of the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Cloud based DevOps Certification.
• Cloud based Security Certification.
