The Role
Team Missions
The Solutioning Excellence Team is charged with two interdependent and strategic missions:
- Methods and Assets for the Solution Community
- Profession, Skills, and Enablement
In addition, this leader will play a key role to shape and implement the future direction for Kyndryl's Solutioning tools.
Assets, Tools, and A.I. led Solutioning Methods for the Solution Community
- Develop and refine a framework technical assets that address the evolving needs of solutioning, using the technical subject matter experts in the global team to curate-and create-reusable content that empowers solutioners to build winning solutions that deliver value for our customers and Kyndryl
- Define and implement a robust process for making solutioning assets and methods accessible to practitioners, working closely with Kyndryl Consult, Delivery, and Practices to guarantee asset quality and relevance.
- Support the Solutioning Catalogue Team by harvesting and hardening valuable assets from live deals, ensuring their reusability and reliability.
- Design and execute a strategy for modernising Kyndryl's costing tools and methodology to support our evolving business direction.
- Act as a catalyst for the adoption of A.I. solutioning methods and use cases across the solutioning franchise and fostering innovation.
Profession, Skills, and Enablement
- Design and execute a comprehensive framework for career development in solutioning within Kyndryl, attracting and retaining top talent.
- Work with our senior leadership team to provide transparency in career progression, including executive-level opportunities akin to architect and consult professions.
- Take ownership of the Solution Practitioners Certification programs, and guidelines for the skills pyramid.
- Develop and launch technical and soft skills content and enablement programs to uplift solutioning competencies and support Kyndryl's growth ambitions.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration end education to improve consult/managed service attach rates.
- Establish and oversee role rotation opportunities (e.g., Solutioner and Consult project managers), promoting breadth of experience and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small, high-performing team of technical SMEs, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction.
- Facilitate the creation, curation, and dissemination of solutioning methods and assets that accelerate solutioning in the field.
- Build partnerships with country leaders as well as global Consult, Delivery, and Practices, ensuring alignment with solutioning needs and asset availability.
- Support the Catalogue Team in asset harvesting and hardening, guaranteeing that only the highest quality assets are promoted for reuse.
- Champion the use of AI and advanced technologies within solutioning, driving adoption and curating relevant assets.
- Design and implement talent enablement programs, certification journeys, and career frameworks that foster growth and advancement.
- Promote a culture of cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a thought leader for "solutioning 2.0"-the next generation of solutioning at Kyndryl-contributing brainpower and strategic vision to shape our future approach.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in Managed Services solution design with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience with how similar companies in the market handle costing and solution documentation, and modernisation projects in this area. Experience with technical consulting or related disciplines would be an advantage.
- Technical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in solutioning methodology, asset curation, and advanced technology adoption (including AI use cases).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, driving high performance and innovation.
- Collaboration: Experience working across functions in a large enterprise, building alignment and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
- Process Improvement: Track record of assessing, refining, and optimizing business processes for efficiency and impact.
- Talent Development: Success in designing and implementing enablement programs, certification paths, and frameworks for professional growth.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Change Management: Ability to lead teams through change and drive adoption of new frameworks, technologies, and processes.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $173,280 to $329,280based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California:$190,560 to $395,040
Colorado: $173,280 to $329,280
New York City: $207,840 to $395,040
Washington: $190,560 to $362,160
Washington DC:$190,560 to $362,160
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
