ServiceNow Solution Architect & Product Owner - HR Products

As a CIO platform architect, you will partner with colleagues within the platform team to ensure that HR roadmap items dovetail into CIO and strategic initiatives to support all other platform stakeholders. You will ensure that HR solutions are reviewed by the relevant architectural boards (TDA / ARB) and that all designs are compliant with CIO SOX controls.

As a senior technical member of the CIO platform team, you will help to educate, train and mentor resources throughout the group to better understand and support the holistic CIO & HR strategies.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of product ownership, stakeholder engagement, architectural expertise, and hands-on platform experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Product Ownership
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to define, prioritize, and maintain a strategic product roadmap for ServiceNow HRSD.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, innovative ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise platform architecture.
  • Act as the trusted advisor to HR for ServiceNow capabilities, features, and enhancements.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture
  • Lead and direct 4 software developers
  • Serve as the technical lead and solution architect for HR-related projects and configurations on ServiceNow.
  • Design end-to-end technical solutions for HR journeys such as onboarding, case management, lifecycle events, and knowledge management.
  • Oversee configuration, integration, and development activities ensuring adherence to enterprise architectural and security standards.
• Team & Delivery Oversight
  • Lead and mentor project development teams comprising developers, BA's and testers
  • Drive agile sprint planning and execution across an ongoing program of work focused on HR digital transformation.
  • Ensure quality assurance, performance testing, and change control processes are embedded in delivery.
  • Support the interview and selection process for new team members
• Governance & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the key liaison between HR and the enterprise CIO ServiceNow team.
  • Ensure compliance with CIO architecture, data privacy, security, and development standards.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide ServiceNow governance bodies, design reviews, and platform health initiatives.

Who You Are

Key Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science is preferred but required
• Manage 4 direct reports
• Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (required)
• 7+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, with at least 3 years in solution architecture and/or product ownership roles.
• 3 years expertise in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) including Case & Knowledge Management, Employee Center, Lifecycle Events, and Integrations (e.g., Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors).
• Proven experience in designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions within a global environment.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery practices, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially across HR and IT stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, and Scoped Applications.
• Experience of identity platform integrations (Okta experience desirable)

Desirable Certifications:

• Certified Implementation Specialist - HRSD (highly desirable)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (preferred)
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progressing towards CTA (preferred)
• Agile/SAFe certifications (e.g., Scrum Product Owner) a plus

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $173,280 to $329,280 based on a full-time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California:$190,560 to $395,040

Colorado: $173,280 to $329,280

New York City: $207,840 to $395,040

Washington: $190,560 to $362,160

Washington DC:$190,560 to $362,160

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
