The Role

■ Position Overview

We are forming an engineering team dedicated to automating and streamlining server operations for major enterprise clients in the system outsourcing domain. In this role, you will contribute as a Technical Architect or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), providing technical support while also engaging in team management and client communication.

■ Key Responsibilities

  • Propose, design, and implement server operation automation solutions (streamlining operational processes)
  • Provide technical support for system construction and operations
  • Communicate with clients (requirements gathering, improvement proposals, regular reporting, progress management)
  • Manage and mentor a team of 5 or more engineers

1. Experience with Large-Scale, Mission-Critical Systems
You will gain hands-on experience operating high-availability, high-reliability systems for major enterprises. Exposure to a wide range of technologies will allow you to deepen and broaden your skill set.

  • Remote work available (with 2-3 days per week of on-site work)
  • Work locations: Client sites within Tokyo's 23 wards and surrounding Kanto area (subject to project)

Who You Are

Required:

  • Experience in server setup or operations (on-premises or cloud - no preference)
  • Experience in creating operational designs and manuals/procedure documents
  • Leadership experience (e.g., team guidance, member management)
  • Comfortable with using English (reading/writing and basic conversation)

Preferred:

  • Experience in automating server operations (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform, CI/CD tools)
  • Hands-on experience working as an SRE
  • Experience in client communication/negotiation
