Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

Project Manager at Kyndryl

At Kyndryl, Project Managers oversee the delivery of key projects within scope, schedule, and budget. They act as conductors-bringing together everyone's efforts to create harmony and drive project success. As the single point of contact for customers, they embody Kyndryl's reputation and values in every interaction.

Kyndryl Project Managers manage highly detailed and dynamic calendars. They lead detailed project planning, team management, meetings, status checks, planning sessions, and regular reviews. They analyze and mitigate risks, manage finances, ensure the team has the right skills, plan and delegate activities, meet deadlines, deliver based on milestones, and ultimately ensure customer satisfaction.

Of course, plans often change as projects progress. That's why Project Managers must think in terms of continuous structure-not just scheduling, but being accountable for delivering value. Communication is just as important as planning and organization-it makes up 90% of the job. You'll be the single point of contact for customers, partners, and all stakeholders, ensuring they get what they need. You'll also serve as a bridge between all other project teams, including technical and sales teams.

This creates an exciting environment filled with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and languages. In short, you need to be personable, empathetic, and collaborative, while also being assertive and capable of handling customer change requests with tact. You'll meet many people, build networks, and foster relationships. Our "one team with the customer" philosophy means building strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders. Depending on the project, you may be based at the customer's location, which often puts you in the spotlight-but also opens up opportunities to deepen relationships and add value. This is one of the reasons why Kyndryl employees find their work so rewarding.
