The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in improving fast, safe delivery of software at scale. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our operations and processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, define and implement the architecture of the software lifecycle flow, select and integrate key tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, CI/CD tools.
  • Work closely with QA team to integrate quality gates as part of the whole flow using Selenium, JMeter, Cypress among others to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
  • Build and maintain the pipelines stack, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Drive the automation of complex operational tasks that traditionally burdened developers or operations teams.
  • Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to understand their pain points and gather feedback that guides the continuous improvement of the current flow.
  • Help measuring and publishing principal KPIs about the architecture's flows, main metrics affecting the developer's productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers within the DevOps team, fostering their growth and technical expertise.
  • Act as guidance, key reference and SME to unblock technical stoppers in your daily basis
  • Assist with building and managing cloud-native environments using containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • More than 4 years of experience as DevOps Team Lead or DevOps Engineer delivering modern CI / CD solutions, based on cloud DevOps native services, GitHub or Jenkins ecosystems like GitHub Actions, Advanced Security, SonarQube, Tryvy, Helm, Kubernetes, OWASP, Argo CD, GitLab orchestration, etc...
  • Solid Demonstrated experience in designing and building software platforms or distributed systems at scale.
  • Solid with cloud-native architectures, container orchestration or serverless patterns such as Kubernetes, Lambdas, Azure Functions, Cloud App Engines
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices (e.g., Ansible,Terraform, Crossplane , Opentofu, etc...).
  • Proven experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to integrate complex systems and diverse tools seamlessly.
  • Strong developer culture to understand business flows through application deployments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of development tools and technologies like Git, RESTful APIs, and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an Engineering team.
