The Role

Key responsibilities for this role involve:

• Review customer contracts and contract modifications.
• Assess accounting implications under applicable accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS and company accounting policies).
• Evaluate revenue recognition matters, including performance obligations and transaction structure.
• Identify non-standard terms and conditions that may impact accounting treatment.
• Prepare accounting position papers, fact sheets, and technical accounting conclusions.
• Participate in contract reviews requiring Corporate HQ, Audit, or external auditor involvement.
• Support investigations, controls, compliance reviews, and special accounting projects.
• Provide accounting guidance to business, finance, legal, and operational teams.

Who You Are

Key requirements of this opportunity are:

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (ASC 606 / IFRS 15 and related guidance).
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to apply professional judgment to complex business situations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to explain complex accounting issues to non-accounting audiences.
