SAP FICO Consultant

Your Role

As a SAP S/4 HANA FICO Consultant you will support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of finance processes. You will work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders

to gather requirements, translate accounting and statutory needs into scalable SAP solutions, and ensure successful delivery throughout the solution lifecycle.

As a trusted functional consultant, you will lead solution design activities, support integration across SAP modules, and participate in testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex financial and reconciliation issues, preparing functional specifications and documentation, and collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other SAP functional areas. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure solutions meet both business and regulatory requirements while driving continuous process improvement.

What You Will Do

• Lead and support the design, and implementation of FICO modules with other SAP and/or non SAP modules including functional implementation of enhancements and ongoing support activities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Finance and Controlling processes.
• Perform end-to-end testing including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide user training and prepare documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) developers for custom developments.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and ensure timely resolution.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will bring deep SAP S4/HANA knowledge including universal journal, ledgers, accounting principles, parallel accounting, currencies, document splitting, validations, substitutions, asset classes, depreciation areas, depreciation methods, and end-to-end asset lifecycle processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience.
• Proven experience with integration of FICO and P2P, QTC modules.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes, including reporting, planning, and cost controlling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale transformation or implementation projects.
• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with development teams and understanding software development lifecycles.
