Kyndryl's Global AI Infrastructure & Data Center Deployment organization helps customers design, build, deploy, manage and optimize AI infrastructure at global scale. Our teams support the full lifecycle of AI data center deployments, from readiness and mobilization through deployment, operational handoff and continuous improvement.

The Role

The Regional AI Deployment Leader - EMEA is responsible for leading AI infrastructure and data center deployment activities across the EMEA region. This leader translates global deployment strategy into regional execution plans while ensuring readiness, quality, safety, delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

This position serves as the primary regional deployment leader and is accountable for deployment mobilization, staffing readiness, partner management, capacity planning, operational governance, escalation management and customer engagement.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end deployment mobilization and operational execution for mission-critical AI infrastructure and data centers across the EMEA region.
• Formulate and execute comprehensive regional workforce, partner capacity, and deployment plans to support rapid business expansion.
• Own regional readiness across technical staffing, onboarding, tooling, access credentials, travel logistics, and customer dependencies.
• Direct and empower site leadership through deployment launches, stabilization, operational handoffs, and transition governance.
• Champion rigorous project delivery, proactively mitigating operational risks, upholding deployment schedules, and enforcing safety and quality standards.
• Cultivate and scale a resilient regional partner ecosystem and specialized technical talent pipeline across multiple international markets.
• Serve as the executive escalation point for customer engagements, driving transparent executive communications and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Uphold global deployment methodologies, operational playbooks, and continuous improvement mechanisms through post-deployment reviews and operational metrics.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of proven experience in infrastructure deployment, technical delivery leadership, or data center operations.
• Demonstrated track record leading geographically dispersed teams and delivering complex technical deployments across multiple countries.
• Strong domain knowledge of AI infrastructure, cloud architectures, networking, or high-performance data center environments.
• Proven background in strategic workforce and capacity planning, partner/vendor management, and large-scale deployment mobilization.
• Robust capabilities in operational governance, risk and escalation management, and quality and safety leadership.
• Exceptional customer-facing and executive communication skills with experience operating effectively within global matrix delivery models.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA region and internationally as required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Professional project/program management certifications (such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with specialized AI infrastructure, GPU cluster deployments, or accelerated computing environments.
• Prior experience leading large-scale field operations organizations or multi-site data center rollouts.
• Professional working proficiency in one or more additional European/EMEA languages alongside fluent English.
