The Role
The SFCC Specialist actively participates in documentation, technical and functional testing (SIT/UAT), release support, change validation, and post‑deployment stabilization, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the platform operates according to corporate standards, Salesforce best practices, and governance models.
This role requires strong technical judgment, a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, structured analytical skills, and clear communication with all involved stakeholders to enable effective diagnostics, issue resolution, and informed decision‑making.
1. Incident and Request Management in the AMS Environment
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical and functional incidents related to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C), ensuring site stability and availability.
- Address business requests related to eCommerce functionality, assessing impact and proposing solutions aligned with the operational model.
- Review application logs, identify errors, and apply fixes or coordinate their resolution.
- Verify proper operation of integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, order management systems, and customer data platforms.
- Manage tickets according to priority, impact, and response time standards defined by the AMS service.
2. Technical Analysis and eCommerce Process Validation
- Review and validate the technical performance of the SFCC platform, ensuring correct execution of browsing, purchasing, and post‑sales processes.
- Analyze end‑to‑end digital customer journeys.
- Validate configurations, business rules, and custom components within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Identify root causes of failures related to the platform, integrations, or front‑end and back‑end components.
- Document findings, implemented solutions, and technical recommendations, ensuring operational traceability.
3. Technical Coordination within the SFCC Ecosystem
- Collaborate with front‑end and back‑end development teams to manage fixes, adjustments, and enhancements.
- Coordinate with integrators, architects, and infrastructure teams when technical interdependencies exist.
- Follow up on actions derived from technical analysis until proper implementation is confirmed.
- Ensure alignment between digital business requirements and SFCC platform capabilities.
4. Development, Configuration, and Integrations
- Configure and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud using tools such as:
- Business Manager
- Script Editor
- OCAPI (Open Commerce API)
- Develop and support front‑end and back‑end components of the platform.
- Implement and validate integrations with:
- Payment gateways
- Inventory management systems
- Order management and customer data systems
- Ensure proper integration of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the eCommerce platform.
5. Testing, Change, and Release Support
- Participate in technical and functional testing (SIT/UAT) for new features, fixes, and enhancements.
- Validate deliverables prior to deployment into production.
- Oversee and validate the application of platform updates, patches, and bug fixes in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Provide support during post‑release stabilization, monitoring performance, logs, and overall site behavior.
6. Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation related to:
- Troubleshooting procedures
- Incident management
- System configurations
- Identify opportunities for improvement in performance, stability, security, and user experience.
- Propose continuous optimization initiatives within the AMS service.

- 5 years of hands‑on experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C)
Preferred:
- Experience in AMS or production support environments.
- Experience in the retail and/or fashion industry.
- Participation in eCommerce platform implementations, upgrades, or stabilization initiatives.
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and self‑management.
Language
- Spanish: Fluent
- English: Intermediate (technical reading and basic communication)
