As the single point of contact to the client, you'll also be the living embodiment of Kyndryl's reputation every day.
This role is accountable for the successful delivery of high-impact AI and Machine Learning projects. The Project Manager guides cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Success in this position involves navigating the inherent ambiguity of AI development, managing stakeholder expectations, and rigorously controlling project scope, schedule, and budget. This leader acts as the central point of ownership, bringing structure and clarity to complex, research-intensive initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

- Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, including data quality issues, model performance shortfalls, ethical considerations, and technical debt.
- Managing the project scope and implementing change control processes to handle the fluid nature of research and development.
- Balancing exploratory, research-driven work with concrete delivery deadlines and business needs.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the project, facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Translating complex AI concepts, project progress, and risks into clear business terms for status reports and executive briefings.
- Organizing and leading project status meetings, steering committee reviews, and other stakeholder forums.
- Resource & Budget Management:
- Managing project budgets, including forecasting for computational resources (e.g., cloud compute, storage), software licensing, and specialized talent.
- Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation
