The Role

Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You're in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You'll be there from the start of a project - understanding what's needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you'll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

As an Infrastructure Architect, you'll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you're the subject matter expert - consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you're the tech leader for implementation.

Network Design & Implementation:

• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco ACI, Juniper MX Routers/SRX Firewalls, and VMware NSX-T environments.
• Deploy and optimize network security frameworks using Zero-Trust and Micro-Segmentation principles.
• Integrate NSX-T and vRNI (vRealize Network Insight) into customer environments.
• Implement and support Application Load Balancing (F5, NSX ALB, or similar solutions).
• Oversee workload migration and network integration projects.

Automation & Optimization:

• Develop network automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and Postman to enhance operational efficiency.
• Automate network configuration deployments and security policies.
• Maintain and optimize BAU (Business As Usual) processes while ensuring minimal downtime.

Security & Compliance:

• Ensure network security and compliance best practices.
• Manage infra certificate management, lifecycle management, and migration activities.
• Collaborate with client security teams to meet compliance requirements and implement secure network solutions.

Technical Support & Vendor Management:

• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues within Cisco, Juniper, and VMware SDN environments.
• Open and manage support cases with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and VMware.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions on new technologies, operational procedures, and best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center Networking with Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Strong expertise in Cisco ACI, Juniper MX Router/SRX Firewall, and VMware NSX-T.
• Experience in network automation using Ansible, Python, and Postman.
• Proficiency in Application Load Balancing solutions (F5, NSX ALB).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, vCenter).
• Strong understanding of Zero-Trust Security, Micro-Segmentation, and Compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and alerting systems.
• Experience managing BAU processes, lifecycle management, and certificate management.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Familiarity with Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to VMware vRealize Network Insight (vRNI).
• Experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity solutions.
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, VCP-NV, or NSX-T certification are a plus.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
