The Role
Our strength lies in our ability to directly contribute to our customers' business transformation! Kyndryl's IT solution services accelerate our customers' transformation and growth by providing technical support ranging from formulating future visions and medium- to long-term plans, to selecting vendors for IT system design and construction, to operation and maintenance. Kyndryl has grown its business primarily through IT infrastructure construction and outsourcing, but to meet our customers' needs, we are now expanding our technology services to cover the entire system. This time, we are seeking an individual to lead the technical support team for a mainframe system currently in production for a major non-life insurance client, whose operations are deeply connected to our daily lives. [Specific Job Description] - As a team leader, you will be responsible for planning and executing mainframe system hardware replacements, software upgrades, and maintenance. - As a mainframe system technical team lead, you will manage the team and communicate with members and customers. - Manage the overall progress, issues, quality, and risk of mainframe system projects. - Investigate and develop countermeasures when mainframe system failures occur, and lead the way. [Department Message] Our organization is looking for a colleague to participate in various projects for insurance industry clients, including operational support, technical support, new projects, and renewals, and to become a core member in the future as a project manager or team leader. This is a challenging job where you will utilize your knowledge of daily projects and system operations, as well as global solutions, to work across the entire client organization, working as a team to address their system issues and develop new improvements and proposals. Who You Are
[MUST] Persons with the following experience: - 5+ years of experience with IBM mainframe hardware and software - Technical support experience for IBM mainframe batch management software products IZWS (ZWS, IWS, TWS, OPC) (Communication with IBM support will be in English) - Experience with IBM mainframe software maintenance (applying fixes, etc.) - Experience with IBM mainframe troubleshooting (when a problem occurs, work with the IBM software troubleshooting team to isolate the problem, collect documentation necessary for cause analysis, and analyze the documentation to determine the cause) - 5+ years of experience in customer negotiations [Nice to have] - Interest in mainframe modernization
