The Role

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise GCP platform architecture, including networking, identity, security, and shared services
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform and GCP-native tooling
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and scripting languages
• Architect, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for GCP platform and infrastructure deployments
• Implement and manage GCP governance using Organizations, Folders, Projects, IAM, and Organization Policies
• Collaborate with Security and Architecture teams to integrate compliance, identity, and security controls
• Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship to platform and DevOps engineers
• Enable application teams through reusable modules, templates, and self-service platform capabilities
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve GCP platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency

Who You Are

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Terraform for GCP infrastructure provisioning
• Proven experience with Ansible Automation or equivalent configuration management tools
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices
• Advanced knowledge of GCP core services (VPC, Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM)
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Experience with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years of experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering roles
• Experience working in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments
• Strong familiarity with:
  • GCP landing zone and enterprise foundation patterns
  • Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and observability tooling
  • GKE and container-based platforms
• Knowledge of GCP security, identity, and governance frameworks
• Relevant certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer, Terraform)
