The Role

Job Overview

We provide support for the construction and operation of IT infrastructure for a major manufacturing company. This role is part of the distributed systems infrastructure team.

You will oversee the design, construction, and operation of distributed system infrastructure (primarily in AWS environments) and serve as the technical lead for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate distributed system infrastructure (on-premises and AWS environments)
  • Plan and manage team operations
  • Lead incident response and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments (e.g., application development, security, network)
  • Manage projects and report to clients

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems, middleware, databases, storage, networks, and monitoring
  • Experience in designing and operating distributed systems or large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Leadership or management experience in a team of around 10 members is preferred
  • Fluent in Japanese

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Interest in both technology and management, with a balanced perspective
  • Possession of certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
  • Ability to approach complex issues logically and flexibly
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to coordinate effectively with other departments
