The Role

Join our team as a Technical Resolution Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing Kyndryl's complex, high-traffic internet site communications and network-based product systems. This isn't just a job - it's a chance to immerse yourself in cutting-edge technology and be at the forefront of innovation.

As a Technical Resolution Specialist, you'll be the engineer of scalable local and wide-area network solutions, bridging multiple platforms and protocols, including IP and VOIP. Your mission is to ensure seamless system performance, troubleshoot network issues, and orchestrate the installation of vital components such as routers and switches in collaboration with our trusted vendors. But that's not all - you'll also be at the forefront of innovation, developing tools to automate network system deployment, administration, and monitoring, while actively participating in project planning and implementation.

Technical Knowledge

  • Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Unix; basic command usage, vi editor, Shell scripting.
  • Networks and Security: Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and information security principles.
  • Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PL/SQL; Oracle 11+.
  • Development:

    • Languages: JSP, Java 1.4 and 1.8, C, HTML, JavaScript.
    • Preferred frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC, Struts, Hibernate.
    • Integration: RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, SOA, OAuth.
    • Other technologies/tools: Axis, Scheduler, Maven, Anypoint, Runtime Manager, API Manager.
  • Support Tools: Jira, ServiceNow, Control‑M.
  • Collaboration and Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive.
  • Version Control: Git, Bitbucket.
  • Integration Models: Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns.

Soft Skills

  • Problem‑solving: Strong diagnostic ability, effective decision‑making, and performance under pressure.
  • Communication: Clear interaction with non‑technical users and technical teams, both written and verbal.
  • Customer Orientation: Ability to manage expectations and provide effective support.
  • Teamwork: Collaboration with developers, QA, infrastructure, networking, and other IT areas.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple incidents simultaneously.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Preferred: Java certification or other technology certifications (Microsoft, ITIL).

Experience

  • Senior Profile: +8 years of experience in technical support or development using Java technologies.
  • Preferred:

    • Experience in retail environments or familiarity with Palacio de Hierro systems.
    • User support, production support, and application maintenance.
    • Availability for rotating shifts and after‑hours support (24/7 service).
    • Experience in AMS environments and participation in implementation projects.
    • Results‑oriented mindset, continuous improvement, and strong self‑management.

  • Spanish: 100%
  • Basic English
