The Role

The Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining technology infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, and services) to ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance standards aligned with business needs.

Main Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management
  • Operate and support systems, networks, and platforms.
  • Implement changes and updates following established processes.
  • Ensure service availability and resilience.
• Monitoring and Performance
  • Monitor system and service performance.
  • Detect and resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare capacity and performance reports.
• Security and Compliance
  • Apply security policies to systems and networks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Project Management
  • Participate in infrastructure projects (installation, migration, improvements).
  • Collaborate in planning and executing technical tasks.
• Technical Support
  • Resolve complex issues escalated from lower levels.
  • Advise users and internal teams on best practices.

• System administration (Windows, Linux, z/OS if applicable).
• Networks and connectivity (LAN/WAN, VPN).
• Virtualization and hybrid cloud environments.
• Automation and scripting tools.
• Backup and disaster recovery management.

Who You Are

Technical Skills

• System Administration
  • Windows, Linux, and (if applicable) Mainframe environments (z/OS).
• Network Management
  • LAN/WAN configuration, VPN setup, and troubleshooting.
• Virtualization & Cloud
  • Experience with virtualization platforms and hybrid cloud environments.
• Automation & Scripting
  • Ability to write scripts for task automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Knowledge of backup strategies and recovery procedures.
