The Role

As a Functional Analyst at Kyndryl, you will be supporting and leading the analysis, design, and delivery of banking solutions. The role involves translating business needs into solution specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation aligned with business goals, technology standards, and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead identification, analysis, and documentation of business, system, and solution requirements
- Define and validate performance, scalability, security, and service quality requirements
- Perform end-to-end impact analysis across applications, integrations, and data flows
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Own and drive solution design specifications aligned to enterprise architecture
- Develop conceptual and logical data models
- Define source-to-target data mappings and create data flow diagrams and transformation rules
- Contribute to effort estimation and solution sizing
- Act as a key bridge between business and technology teams
- Lead stakeholder discussions and ensure alignment across teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement where required
- Mentor junior analysts and review deliverables
- Define validation approach, test strategy, and acceptance criteria
- Oversee SIT and UAT execution and ensure solution quality
- Analyze defects, conduct root cause analysis, and drive resolution
- Ensure deployment readiness
- Ensure alignment with banking regulatory and compliance standards
- Embed risk controls and cybersecurity considerations in solution design
- Support audit, compliance reviews, and first-line-of-defense activities
- Drive process improvement and standardization of analysis practices
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience through technology
- Contribute to reusable assets and domain knowledge repositories

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in banking or BFSI domain
- Strong understanding of Customer lifecycle and engagement processes: Customer onboarding, profiling, segmentation, and relationship management
- Deep knowledge of Marketing & Campaign Management capabilities:
- Campaign design, execution, monitoring, and performance analytics
- Customer segmentation, targeting, personalization, and next-best-offer strategies
- Expertise in Customer Servicing & Interaction Management:
- Case management, service requests, complaint handling, and customer support processes
- Omnichannel interaction handling across branch, contact center, web, and mobile channels
- Strong understanding of lead and opportunity management and sales funnel processes
- Knowledge of integration with core banking, channels, and data platforms (customer 360 view)
- Familiarity with end-to-end customer journeys and cross-domain dependencies
- Ability to engage with marketing teams, product managers, customer service units, and IT teams
- Exposure to Salesforce, Google Analytics, Notification Service, IBM Campaign will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of solution design, product lifecycle, and data governance & analysis
- Deep understanding of testing, customer experience, incident/problem management, and application support
- Expertise in requirements analysis, solution specification management, and feasibility assessment
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strategic mindset with strong business awareness
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- High level of accountability, integrity, and adaptability
- Ability to perform in complex and high-pressure environments
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Bachelore's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Preferred Tools/Platforms: e.g., Jira, Confluence
- Certification in Agile SAFe
