The Role

Your role

In the area of shared banking platforms and systems services for financial institutions, you will identify client needs by building relationships with senior executives and business leaders, and turn challenges spanning multiple financial institutions into viable solution opportunities.

You will connect sales, consulting, and delivery organizations and drive continuous value creation beyond the proposal stage, taking operational performance into account. Through these efforts, you will foster trusted, long-term client relationships and support sustainable business growth.

What you will do

• Engage with financial institutions to understand their strategic and operational challenges and identify new business opportunities

• Build and maintain relationships with client executives and business leaders

• Structure challenges spanning multiple organizations and develop proposal strategies and practical solutions

• Collaborate with sales, technology, and delivery teams to advance opportunities from proposal development through deal creation

• Continue to monitor client needs after project launch and identify opportunities for additional proposals and improvements

• Lead client responses to incidents and critical issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders

• Drive continuous business expansion focused on creating long-term value for clients

Required skills and experience

• Experience in IT services, systems integration (SI), consulting, or account sales for the financial services industry

• Experience uncovering client needs and translating them into proposals and new business opportunities

• Experience building relationships and negotiating with executives or business leaders

• Strong coordination skills with the ability to engage and align multiple functions, including sales, technology, and delivery

• A commitment to creating continuous client value beyond one-time proposals

• Understanding of business practices and systems services specific to the financial services industry

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience managing financial services clients at a major systems integrator, IT services company, or consulting firm

• Experience in banking, regional banking, shared banking platforms, or financial infrastructure

• Experience developing proposals and driving large-scale opportunities involving multiple stakeholders

• A track record of expanding into new proposal areas within existing client accounts

• Experience driving business initiatives across sales, consulting, and delivery functions

• Ability to proactively uncover client challenges and turn them into business opportunities with a high degree of autonomy
