The Role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in improving how software is delivered: faster, safer, and at scale-while enabling development teams to focus on what matters most. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

This role combines technical leadership, hands‑on work, and mentorship in an environment that values learning, ownership, and inclusive teamwork.

What you'll do

  • Design, define, and evolve the end‑to‑end software delivery lifecycle, selecting and integrating key technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD platforms with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Drive automation of operational tasks to reduce friction for development and operations teams.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to their technical and professional growth.
  • Support the design and operation of cloud‑native environments using containers and, where applicable, serverless technologies.
  • Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitOps practices.

Who You Are

Essential experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working with modern CI/CD solutions and cloud‑native services.
  • Hands‑on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid experience with cloud‑native architectures, containers, orchestration, or serverless patterns (e.g. Kubernetes, Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane, OpenTofu, etc.).
  • Ability to integrate complex systems and multiple tools into coherent platforms.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.
  • Fluency in Spanish.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments or with strict security/compliance requirements.
  • Medium hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Relevant certifications or current pursuit of certification.
  • Knowledge or experience in Internal Developer Platforms are valuable and nice to have.
