What You'll Do

As a Systems Programmer, you'll be the backbone of our Mainframe environment. Your work ensures that the systems our customers rely on are secure, stable, and optimized for performance.

Here are your three core responsibilities:

Build and Maintain the Foundation
You'll provide programming support for Mainframe operating systems and DBDC subsystems-the critical infrastructure that applications depend on. Your expertise will keep these systems running smoothly and securely.

Solve Complex Problems
You'll lead root cause analysis (RCA) discussions, troubleshoot issues others can't, and design solutions that prevent future problems. Your creativity and judgment will drive improvements across multiple projects.

Guide and Influence
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and even influence decisions beyond your department. Whether it's mentoring professionals or managing resources for global projects, your voice will matter.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 25 years of relevant work experience in systems programming or related technical role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C, and C++
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues
• Solid experience with operating systems, including Linux, UNIX, or z/OS
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence technical decisions
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise-level systems

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Mainframe tools and technologies such as NetView, SysView, FTP/SFTP, Axway CFT, Connect:Direct, VIPA/DVIPA
• Experience working in a GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) environment
• Knowledge of advanced networking concepts and secure file transfer protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Exposure to large-scale system architecture and performance optimization
