The Role
LOCATION: Georgia / Florida - within commutable proximity to state capital
Kyndryl Consult is the fastest-growing business unit within our organization and is instrumental to our strategic growth objectives. We bring together deep technical expertise, strategic advisory, and hands-on execution to help complex enterprise clients modernize their infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and build resilient digital capabilities.
In this high-impact individual contributor leadership role within a lean, senior team, you will drive large-scale digital transformation and technology modernization programs across key enterprise accounts in Georgia and Florida. You will serve as a key advisor to executive technology leaders and department heads, helping institutions harness modern infrastructure solutions to achieve their strategic goals.
Strategic Growth & Business Development
- Drive commercial outcomes across key regional accounts through high-value consulting engagements, cloud migrations, and infrastructure modernization solutions.
- Originate, scope, and close complex consulting opportunities while managing fee negotiations, profitability metrics, margin structures, and commercial risk mitigation.
- Navigate complex enterprise procurement cycles, master services agreements, competitive RFPs, and strategic partnership frameworks.
Client Engagement & Executive Advisory
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Cabinet Executives, and enterprise procurement leaders across Georgia and Florida.
- Translate business goals, operational mandates, and annual budget cycles into actionable technology modernization roadmaps.
- Build strategic relationships across key regional account portfolios, including major enterprise divisions, infrastructure services, operations, finance, and technology offices.
- Provide strategic guidance to key regional institutions and enterprise organizations aligned with broader technology transformation agendas.
Practice Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Guide client engagements from initial pre-deal strategy through post-deal implementation planning and delivery oversight.
- Manage account strategies, commercial pricing models, risk reviews, and cross-functional technical expertise across the organization.
- Contribute to industry eminence, thought leadership, and Kyndryl brand presence across Southeast executive technology forums and industry events.

Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a consultative sales or advisory role driving IT professional services, cloud migration, and digital transformation within SLED organizations.
- Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities across Georgia or Florida state and local government accounts.
- Experience navigating public sector procurement regulations, public contracting laws, RFPs, RFIs, and cooperative purchasing vehicles like NASPO, OMNIA, or GSA schedules.
- Proven experience leading and executing complex projects with multidisciplinary teams across IT, finance, legal, and leadership stakeholder groups.
- Practical experience driving revenue growth, negotiating fee structures, and managing profitability and deal margins.
- Working knowledge of key public sector compliance frameworks, including StateRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, and FERPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience authoring formal government solicitation responses and executive presentations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Professional experience within a state government agency, municipal department, public school district, or university system in Georgia or Florida.
- Proven experience leading digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or public sector modernization efforts across extended sales cycles.
- Established network of executive relationships across Georgia or Florida state agencies, local municipalities, or higher education institutions.
- Exposure to major public sector enterprise cloud ecosystems, including Microsoft, Google Cloud, AWS, or Salesforce.
- Relevant public cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) or technology consulting credentials.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
Bonus Skills & Knowledge:
- Prior experience in a government agency, public school district, or university system
- Knowledge of digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or government modernization efforts
- Existing relationships within state agencies, municipalities, or educational institutions in the States of Georgia or Florida
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $185,760 to $334,320 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California (San Francisco Bay Area): $222,960 to $401,160
California (All Other): $204,360 to $367,800
Colorado: $185,760 to $334,320
Massachusetts: $185,760 to $367,800
New York City: $222,960 to $401,160
Washington: $204,360 to $367,800
Washington DC: $204,360 to $367,800
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
