As an Application/Software Architect, you'll be responsible for designing cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products that will set the standard for the industry. You'll use your extensive technical knowledge to conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes, while also identifying and resolving any framework design weaknesses.
You'll use your technical expertise to provide technical leadership to the application development team, perform design and code reviews, and ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained. You'll also collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture is aligned with business requirements, making sure that the project meets its goals.
Your expertise in designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure, will be put to use as you create and maintain documentation surrounding the software architecture, application design processes, component integration, testing guidelines, and other key elements.

Who You Are
Job Description
We are seeking a modern Application Developer with strong engineering capabilities and hands-on experience in building next-generation banking and financial systems.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with modern software development practices, cloud-native architecture, API-driven integration, and agile engineering culture. This role will work closely with Business Analysts, System Analysts, Solution Architects, and DevOps teams to build scalable, secure, and resilient financial applications across Core Banking, Branch Banking, and Credit Card platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern banking and financial applications
- Collaborate with BA/SA teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop scalable microservices and API-based applications
- Build and integrate systems with internal platforms and external third-party services
- Participate in system modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and secure application components
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and production issue troubleshooting
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and engineering best practices
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture improvements
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, QA, and vendor teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience, preferably within banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of modern application architecture and distributed systems
- Experience in enterprise application development and system integration
- Hands-on experience with API and microservices development
- Familiar with secure coding practices and financial system compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Able to work in fast-paced Agile environments
- Good communication and collaboration skills
