Workforce Strategy & Planning Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for developing and executing strategic workforce plans that align talent supply with business demand. This role serves as a bridge with HR, Retail Operations, Finance, and business leaders to ensure workforce capabilities support organizational agility, growth and competitiveness. Responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to inform headcount planning, skills development, and organizational capability strategies to ensure the organization has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast future workforce needs based on business growth, transformation initiatives, and external labor market trends.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify skill shortages or surpluses and develop plans to address them, such as hiring, reskilling, or redeployment.
- Partner with Organizational Design team to design and refine functional organizational structures that support strategic objectives.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Use scenario planning to model workforce outcomes under various business conditions.
- Communicate workforce strategies clearly across business units to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of workforce plans, leveraging influential leadership; monitor implementation of workforce plans and adjust based on changing needs.
- Lead workforce planning projects and manage related fiscal responsibilities and resources.
- Travel 20% to field locations and business sites.
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 5+ years of experience in workforce planning, HR strategy, HR Business Partner, People Analytics, or talent management preferably in a large, complex organization
- Experience with strategic planning, change management and organizational development
- Ability to adapt, innovate and lead through influence
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in workforce analytical tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lead workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload
- Strong problem solving, organizational and prioritization skills with a high attention to detail
Desired
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or related field
- Experience leading or contributing to organizational change initiatives or project management
