STRATEGIC INITIATIVES BUSINESS PARTNER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for consistency across strategic initiatives and assists in the development of program management methodologies, standards & tools/templates. Work across strategic initiatives to ensure consistency and actively support change management and training. Work directly with strategy leads to assist with strategy development and execution, and play an active challenger role in strategic initiatives. Support pressure testing and partnership for strategic initiatives, escalating issues as required with a predictive, forward looking nature. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist development of program management methodologies, standards and tools/templates; ensure consistency across strategic initiatives on program management methodologies
- Actively support change management, work directly with strategy leads to assist with day-to-day strategy development and execution plans; assist with organizing and delivery top strategic initiatives
- Engage with workstream leads and play an active challenger role in supporting strategic initiatives, support pressure testing and partnership for strategic initiatives
- Support as-needed surge asks: Dive into assist initiatives where short term/quick assistance may be required and navigate organization, people and processes
- Escalate issues as required, with a predictive, forward-looking nature
- Ensure consistency across program
- Provide feedback on direction set by strategy leads during strategy development working sessions
- Monitor and mitigate program risk/issues
- Engage strategic initiatives leader for guidance where needed across multiple workstreams
- Help to ensure cross-functional partners are effectively engaging across organization
- Provide thoughtful pressure-testing through business case process
- Support informed decision making on strategic initiatives investment decisions and process

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree business management or related field
- 5+ years general project or program management
- Any experience managing project resources with governance and routine focus; ability to independently track required routine and day-to-day work
- Strong business acumen, understanding of company strategy, how strategic ambitions link to specific workstreams/initiatives
- Understanding of organizational impacts that result from changes in business processes/technologies
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Demonstrated competency in training/communication of efficient/effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- Proven strong communication and management skills across varying levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently and track required routine and day-to-day work
- Strong ability to work collaboratively across verticals in an organization and managing interdependent complexities, roadblocks, milestones
- Strong bias for action and ability to dive into discussions as needed
- Ability to forecast predictive performance of workstreams/initiatives and suggest interventions
