JOB DESCRIPTION
Work collaboratively with division and corporate Merchandising to maximize store sales by meeting/exceeding our diverse customer needs through the implementation of strategic product placement. Responsible for division store implementation of company standardized product placement. Work collaboratively with internal and external associates in the execution of store product plan-o-grams and serve as subject matter expert in all areas of the Floral department. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate resources to execute efficient (re)sets, remodels and shelf management for diverse products to provide the shopping experience that meets/exceeds customer expectations

- Identify and implement best practices for shelf management, timely placement of new items, discontinued items and markdown programs
- Understand the competitive landscape, merchandising trends and assortment within the division and provide necessary feedback to corporate Merchandising
- Provide Floral merchandising training to Produce/Floral field specialist
- Provide feedback to Merchandising and field specialist to ensure product mix that meets/exceeds customer expectations
- Serve as communication channel to Merchandising regarding district and store issues and opportunities
- Provide consistent feedback to store leadership, division field specialist, and Produce field merchandiser; reference observations during store visits, including strengths and developmental opportunities of Natural Foods, Produce and Floral associates
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Any store management experience
- Systems and software knowledge
- Ability to persist at tasks and pursue completion of objectives
- Clear and direct communication skills
- Ability to establish priorities
Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- Any store department manager, assistant store leader, or perishable department experience
