Marketing Strategy Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide marketing initiatives, setting direction for critical business strategies that align with company and customer objectives. Partner with Senior Marketing Strategists to develop and activate the annual marketing strategy, leading the creation of integrated plans executed consistently across all channel partners. Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies support total company goals and division-specific opportunities while protecting the customer experience and broader business priorities. Lead leadership alignment and support end-to-end marketing campaign execution, including driving research to inform briefs and coordinating internal and external marketing partners. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise integrated marketing content calendar and applies deep knowledge of business, customer, and market-specific activations to optimize strategies and deliver measurable results. Engage directly with business and divisional teams to support go-to-market strategies, address customer needs, and effectively leverage enterprise marketing plans and supplemental solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent initiatives to senior leadership across various functions (merchandising, tech, operations, analytics, etc.), owning communications strategy alignment meetings, brief consultations and marketing
  • Engage in collaboration across agency partners and cross-functional internal partners to ensure business-specific elements of the marketing strategy are well understood and adopted across the various interdependent customer-facing comms channel leaders
  • Partner with analytics team to create and implement measurement plans; monitor and socialize performance results up to Marketing Strategy leadership and business partners; demonstrate keen ability to leverage tools to generate insights and understand and analyze results to assess/calculate risk and opportunity costs to drive decisions that deliver against consumer needs and business metrics, including growing incremental trips, sales, brand awareness/equity, ROI and CPA
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and competitive business landscape to proactively improve marketing plans
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the integrated marketing content calendar, encompassing all campaigns, as well as strong leadership and insight into any marketing support that influences business and customer objectives.
  • Collaborate, review and consult on briefs for campaign creative and tactics ensuring for on-strategy execution
  • Provide divisional support and collaboration, support engagement with a division CCM or leadership to better understand a division's opportunities, customer, business go-to-market strategy and ability to leverage enterprise marketing plans and supplementary solutions to support the divisions

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing roles such as marketing plan lead, marketing manager, brand manager, or senior brand manager
  • Proven ability to set and operationalize enterprise-level marketing strategies that align with company and divisional goals
  • Strong go-to-market planning skills across multiple business units and markets
  • Exceptional communication; crisp storytelling using data to drive decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Desired
  • Master's degree
  • Retail/grocery or omnichannel commerce experience; loyalty/CRM or shopper marketing exposure
  • Experience supporting multi-division enterprises and localized marketing
