JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:
Coordinate basic training for new hires and existing employees. Evaluate and act on information to manage agreed objectives, standards, training activity reports and action plans for all learning and development activity. Ensure all key training requirements are met and records maintained. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    Essential Job Functions:
    • Create and deliver training programs for associates, managers, trainers etc.
    • Schedule and coordinate training for associates.
    • Facilitate orientation and training classes.
    • Ensure and drive best practices and standardization across all departments.
    • Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
    • Prepare reports on training effectiveness relating to business results.
    • Build a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing measured analytics and demonstrate return on investment.
    • Work with management and frontline associates to conduct surveys to identify training needs based on production processes, changes, and other factors.
    • Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
    • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for operations, maintenance and administrative positions.
    • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.


QUALIFICATIONS

    Desired Previous Job Experience/Education:
    • Experience working with hourly employees, as well as exempt personnel.
    • Bachelor's Degree
    Minimum Position Qualifications/Education Requirements:
    • Previous experience in Training and Development
    • Experience interpreting data analytics
    • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and influencing skills
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
    • Solid planning and organizational skills.
    • Moderate to advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
    • Ability to travel independently (< 25%)
