JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead the strategic vision, growth, and operational management of Fred Meyer Jewelers ecommerce business, including website performance, digital marketing and user experience. Develop cross functional relationships and manage multi-channel integration and business development in line with corporate strategy. Frequent independent judgments are essential. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage brand/website development and integration to maximize ecommerce business success, including site optimization and reporting, digital marketing programs and analysis, and budget development
  • Manage, plan, and analyze ecommerce digital marketing programs; drive business and profitability to meet channel sales plan objectives
  • Manage third-party digital marketing agencies
  • Manage website development roadmap to support an effective ecommerce business; oversee and coordinate with team members: site features and functionality, merchandising, selling tools and branding to achieve optimum customer satisfaction and revenue
  • Manage website production activities such as product setup, website maintenance, technology troubleshooting, merchandising, creative deliverables, etc.
  • Provide digital commerce expertise to cross-functional partners by evaluating ecommerce business performance and identifying opportunities to enhance online presence and strengthen multi-channel integration.
  • Collaborate with ecommerce merchandising buyer on merchandise selection, product and promotions
  • Assist in leading and implementing strategies, including directly supervising segments of the ecommerce business
  • Collaborate with technology vendors in the assessment of new technologies
  • Manage ecommerce system infrastructure: website experience, product catalog management, order management, inventory replenishment, conducting inventories, promotion management, date interfaces, fulfillment and customer service
  • Facilitate ecommerce marketing plan and implementation
  • Manage ecommerce Distribution Center, drop shipment facilities and customer service
  • Manage, lead and mentor direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Travel as needed to support the needs of the business
  • Maintain flexibility to work any shift, including weekends and holidays on an occasional basis
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
  • Bachelor's degree marketing, advertising, or business, plus 5+ years of experience in retail marketing, ecommerce marketing, and/or multi-channel marketing; or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Ability to pass drug test
  • Advanced degree in business or applicable area
  • Business analysis experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • 60 WPM typing
  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience directing and participating on project teams
  • Ability to delve into new areas outside of one's comfort level
  • Experience in ecommerce marketing management
  • Significant understanding of ecommerce channel, digital marketing and general/traditional marketing
  • Demonstrated success in planning and execution of effective marketing programs
  • Demonstrated accuracy/attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets
