JEWELRY/DISTRICT SALES MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Direct and supervise the activities of the store management and support associates. Meet financial goals. Verify that all standards and policies are followed in every store while modeling and instilling the Key's Values and Standards of Customer 1st. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Create a selling culture where all team members are driven to provide an outstanding Customer 1st experience in order to exceed sales and performance expectations established by the senior leadership team
- Recruit, select, and develop talent within assigned market to build a strong sales team and future leadership for our brand
- Build diverse teams that reflect the community in which they serve
- Perform retail location inspections to review conditions, Customer 1st performance, merchandising standards, associate performance, and overall operations
- Lead training and development activities including product knowledge, selling skills, customer service, and leadership development
- Communicate with senior leadership regularly about team member engagement, customer satisfaction, competitive issues, and market specific trends
- Promote an open and inclusive work environment where associates are engaged and understand how their work supports the success of the brand
- Support the brand mission, vision, and value proposition in all facets of work
- Follow up promptly on all customer service complaints
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends and travel as needed
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree business or related field, plus five years of experience in sales and jewelry operations; or combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to continue education, as necessary
- Familiarity with jewelry terms and processes
