HR Business Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION
Collect/analyze recruiting data in order to develop/update reports for the recruiting team and leaders across divisions, districts and stores. Analyze processes/metrics associated with CoRE (Center of Recruiting Excellence) operations and staff. Develop reports/recommendations to share with CoRE leadership team in order to facilitate strategic decision-making regarding staffing levels, processes, systems and metrics. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze data/workload trends to forecast hiring volumes, workload, turnover, staffing levels and hours to ensure alignment with business hiring needs
- Evaluate/recommend process improvement solutions, including process redesign, staffing structure and system enhancements
- Analyze established performance metrics (i.e., telephone stats) of CoRE associates to identify efficiencies and areas of opportunity
- Collect/validate data from appropriate internal hiring and applicant tracking systems
- Examine process performance metrics to determine success in time-to-hire, response times and other recruiting activities within the recruiting lifecycle
- Gather appropriate metrics each month for inclusion in metric reports to divisions
- Provide analysis to leadership on the effectiveness of recruiting events, job boards and other recruiting services
- Assist talent leaders in identifying capabilities/processes that drive continuous improvement
- Identify/analyze current/potential issues using root-cause/trend analysis; recommend corrective actions
- Analyze/recommend proposed business decisions by applying cost-benefit and sensitivity analysis
- Provide analysis to division partners, including recommendations on how to best use third-party vendor programs (e.g., pay-per-click and email campaigns) in the future
- Work with the recruiting support coordinator to evaluate the effectiveness of third-party vendor pilot programs to improve processes and recruitment methods
- Utilize advanced analytics tools to make improvement suggestions and provide area analysis to the CoRE team
- Confirm data analysis; ensure agreed upon recommendations align with Human Resources talent development and the people plan strategy
- Travel to identify efficiencies and areas of opportunity and to evaluate effectiveness of vendor pilot programs

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 2+ years of business/data analysis experience, including analyzing data and developing summary reports
- Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills with a high attention to detail
- Capable of documenting/communicating clear/concise technical specifications
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to collaborate and work across cross-functional teams

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years supporting talent acquisition/recruiting activities as a recruiter, recruiting administrator or analyst
