JOB DESCRIPTION

Work closely with respective category management department to ensure development of category pricing strategies that align to enterprise guardrails and goals. Function as a critical conduit between category management, division pricing analysts, and Promo Planning teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with Commodity, Category, division Pricing, and Promo Planning teams to develop a comprehensive pricing programs for the enterprise that comply with enterprise targets/guardrails
- Coordinate implementation of retail pricing strategies for department
- Evaluate and report on department competitive price positioning and pricing strategy effectiveness
- Serve as the primary point of contact with Merchandising departments for everyday price
- Work closely with department promo lead to understand and project impact of pricing decisions on department financials
- Develop financial costing models to forecast pricing strategy expense for budgeting processes

- Be responsible for competitive link development and maintenance
- Maintain competitive intelligence data quality ensuring accurate competitive visibility
- Take necessary steps to achieve retail spread targets for Department on all retail strategies, white tags and promotional initiatives
- Provide retail pricing direction to division pricing analysts regarding cost changes, new items, etc. to ensure competitive pricing consistency across markets
- Oversee execution of all retail pricing programs for department
- Collaborate with division Pricing teams to understand the competitive landscape
- Collaborate with 84.51 to utilize pricing tools and evaluate results
- Collaborate with KTD in development of NEXT
- Recognize and celebrate success and effective collaboration while evaluating ways to evolve/sustain success
- Travel 10% to divisions and market competitors
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- Any experience with financial modeling
- 3+ years of experience in specialized category (i.e., HBC, GM, Produce, Meat, Deli, Grocery, eCommerce)
- Any demonstrated experience creating and using strategy to solve complex problems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to identify metrics and key performance measures and use data to drive decisions which enhance the customer experience
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and expectations
- Ability to influence across functions at all levels internally and externally
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral/written communication skills

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree business administration, economics, math, statistics, or analytics
