ADVANCED QA MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage the development and support of a federated quality assurance (QA) model. Manage a quality team responsible for software quality testing and reporting. Lead and implement the QA direction and function as a liaison across the technology organization. Lead and uphold the associate continuous high-performance process. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage quality efforts across Technology domains to include developing and implementing test strategies, documenting testing and requirements, develop manual and automated test cases and drive execution that ends in successful quality releases to customers

- Provide technical consulting and leadership, identifying and implementing new quality assurance and tooling that assist functional business units in meeting their strategic objectives
- Manage relationship with business stakeholders, ensuring high standards and quality of technical solutions, keeping abreast of latest technology developments
- Implement QA standard tooling, best practices, and metrics across the technology organization
- Facilitate, measure and report on solution area quality maturity assessments to ensure teams are maturing and SLA's are being delivered continuously
- Partner with QA leaders to innovative and implement processes to expand reach of automated quality assurance standards
- Partner with QA leaders to recruit, screen, and select high performing quality engineers
- Implement new QA best-practices which ensure successful deployments across the technology organization
- Establish/support QA communities of practice that enable solution areas to adopt and drive quality ownership
- Establish key metrics and dashboards to provide status and insight to development teams and management
- Manage offshore team members and drive offshore staffing value
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree computer science, computer engineering, or related technology field
- 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering position
- 5+ years of experience as a technology administrative manager or a software quality manager
- Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies, including debugging, performance testing, stress testing, and automation
- Strong communicator who can partner with engineering and product focused teams
- Ability to attract, retain, and grow people to create a self-organized and highly empowered team
- Solid administrative and project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and to all levels within the organization
- Understanding of and practice with agile software development and management
- Knowledge and understanding of systems, procedures, and technology/product management
- Proven experience leading Technology initiatives

- Master's Degree computer science, computer engineering, or related technology field
- Any experience in a software development position
