Regional Business Analyst
Overview
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data for regional dealer sales for presentation to senior management.
- Monitor and report on KPIs including revenue, margins, and expenses.
- Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, providing actionable insights to improve dealer performance.
- Territory planning and reviews with the Dealer Business Managers, related quarter-end forecast reporting, special projects for the division president, and direct reporting and analysis communication with dealer partners, as-needed.
- Contribute to DDP planning and monitor progress to ensure alignment with regional growth objectives.
- Maintain a clear understanding of marketing programs (e.g., REVD UP, Dealer Development Programs) and play a key role in target establishment to measure program effectiveness.

- Ensure timely and clear communication of financial targets, program updates, and performance metrics to the field teams.
Budget Management
- Develop and monitor regional budgets, including dealer incentives, marketing programs, and operational expenses.
- Identify risks and opportunities to ensure alignment with corporate financial goals.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and present financial reports to regional leadership.
- Track KPIs such as revenue per dealer and gross margin.
- Provide trend analysis to support strategic initiatives like dealer growth programs and pricing strategies.
Revenue & Expense Management
- Monitor revenue streams (hardware, supplies, parts) and cost structures to optimize profitability.
- Support pricing strategies and MDF programs for the Regional Vice President.
- Facilitate and monitor corporate promotional events, including ticket allocations and entertainment activities, ensuring compliance with budget and ROI objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with sales, operations, and marketing teams to align financial objectives with dealer programs.
- Collaborate closely with other Regional Analysts to share best practices, ensure consistency, and support cross-region initiatives.
- Partner with the Corporate Finance team to ensure alignment on financial policies, reporting standards, and strategic objectives.
- Support Dealer Business Managers with activities and reporting needs to drive dealer performance and program success.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and internal controls.
- Assist with audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred), or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in office technology or dealer/distribution environments.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or dealer management systems) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
