Credentialing Specialist – Remote Opportunity!

As an Early Childhood (ECE) Credentialing Specialist at KinderCare, you'll support educators in obtaining and maintaining voluntary credentials in ECE. This role combines case management, program administration, partnership coordination, and coaching with an emphasis on growing teachers to deliver our amazing programs!
Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end guidance to educators pursuing their Child Development Associate (CDA), college degrees, or state credentials, including workshops/webinars, transcript reviews, degree audits, CPL assessments, and personalized ECE-aligned degree plans
- Track credentialling processes and progress for all CDA renewals, degree programs, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor workflows. Ensure ongoing compliance with all quality and regulatory requirements
- Build partnerships with colleges, workforce boards, and scholarship providers while staying current on credential requirements
- Track and report pipeline metrics, develop completion plans, and collaborate on dashboards for progress and outcomes
- Support funding access by guiding scholarship/tuition assistance applications and ensuring compliance with requirements
- Educate leaders on credential expectations, monitor regulatory changes, and support audits and compliance processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Education, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- 2+ years in ECE credentialing/advising, CDA support, college admissions/registrar/financial aid, or workforce development
- Demonstrated knowledge of CDA standards, ECE degree pathways, and state professional credential frameworks
- Strong documentation, data entry, and case management skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM/LMS or case-tracking tools
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable steps for educators
- Ability to travel up to 30%
