About the Role:

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the first impression a customer has when using our hardware. You will perform the final configuration, checkout, and packing of devices before they ship to customers evaluating our hardware for the first time. Because these devices will be the first experience a customer has with our hardware, it is essential that each one is correctly configured and fully tested. This requires keen attention to detail from how the device is tested, to how the device is boxed. This role reports to the Trials Hardware Technical Project Manager.

This position will have diverse responsibilities requiring both hands-on technical skills, management skills, and building strong relationships with fulfillment center staff. This role will work independently and therefore the candidate must be self-directed, accountable, collaborative, and able to solve problems independently. Workday will consist of hands-on updating and testing of units, final gift boxing, weekly reporting, system maintenance, updating test station software, forecasting demand for units, and managing inventory levels. Work location will be at our fulfillment center in Fremont, CA, and begin daily at the first shift.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with fulfillment center to sort out first-time logistics of standing up the trial prep process
  • Manage and forecast inventory levels of trials devices and provide weekly reports of activities
  • Coordinate with fulfillment center staff to keep operations running smoothly
  • Manage,  configure, maintain, operate and troubleshoot a Windows PC based update system
  • Setup and maintain networking configuration and functionality of Windows PCs
  • Update, test, inspect, and final gift box of devices before shipment

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations in a team leadership role
  • Experience with inventory management and forecasting
  • Experience with high volume fulfillment center rework projects
  • Familiar with maintaining PC computer systems, including updating Windows drivers, replacing internal components, and configuring network settings
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, self-management skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to enforce adherence to proper fulfillment practices and drive corrective actions
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs
