About the Role:
As our Engineering organization continues to scale we are looking for someone to own pivotal operational tasks to help us continue to be an efficient organization. In this role you will drive key projects, processes and optimizations for Engineering leadership.
The tasks you’ll work on will change week-to-week. One week you may organize our Engineering All Hands meeting and share a report on project efficiency with our Engineering leadership. The next week you may help with our rewards and recognition program and help our finance team pull information for an audit. The work may change but the impact this role has will stay high.
You will work closely with stakeholder teams creating strong working relationships with and influencing across engineering, product management, finance, and HR. Being the first Engineering Operations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the process for a rapidly growing organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years experience in an operational role
- Experience driving projects with an ownership mentality
- Expertise creating/altering processes and rolling them out to large organizations
- Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Competent in data analysis and manipulation using SQL and Google Sheets/ Excel
- Experience working effectively with a global team
