WM Instrument Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Securities Reference Data Product Specialist to join our Chief Data Office team. This individual contributor role requires a deep understanding of financial securities, including Equity, Fixed Income, Listed Derivatives, OTC Derivatives, Index, Annuities, and Alternatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the success of our product team by working with a global team based in India and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical JIRAs, working in partnership with product technology to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in vendor data and applications such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, and ICE to enhance product offerings.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to connect dots and drive innovative solutions.
  • Utilize technical skills to write SQL, GQL queries, and Python scripts to support data analysis and product development.
  • Proficiently write JIRAs in Cucumber format (preferably) and excel in prompt engineering for innovative and AI solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in financial securities and vendor data applications.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL, GQL, and Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in writing JIRAs in Cucumber format and prompt engineering for AI solutions.
